just my 2 cents worth, I don't think Singapore will be any more different.

As they say, the fat boy with his high cholesterol level might be the first to die.

    You have to be kiddng!

Goh Chok Tong will return as PM, LHL will be made Second Minister for the Environment. GRCs will be abolished, The Newspapers and Printing Presses Act will be rescinded, an independent Judicial Services Commission will be established with member of the Opposition, Law Society etc well represented etc

Between MSM and the alternative, i trust neither. Both forms of media are just two of the many ways information is controlled, edited, manipulated and then fed to us. All for someone’s agenda.

Not only his credibility, but i think it shows a lot about his character, or rather a lack of it. His hoax is way below the belt level. I never expected anyone to go so low. He may disagree with the system, with the leaders, but to carry out such a joke just shows how much worse he is than those he criticizes.

Haha, this is quite funny. I don't think there would be protests nor such drastic change as Paul implied. I do think the PAP will be weakened slowly. The country is too efficiently run to not have contingency plans for such an event.

Your point about the ready acceptance of internet news makes sense but you must also remember that Singapore is the most IT connected place in the world. So it's far more likelier that they hear something from social feeds, favorite websites than through official media.
